My mom and I have started a new tradition: every April around her birthday I come to visit the family in Phoenix, and we go spend the majority of the day at Aji Spa at the Sheraton White Horse Pass. I haven’t been to the actual resort part of the grounds, just the spa, but both times have been absolutely wonderful. The spa is perfect for a day trip whether or not you’re staying at the Sheraton next door.
Aji Spa Services
This luxurious sanctuary offers an array of meticulously crafted services designed to restore both body and spirit. With a focus on honoring the rich cultural heritage of the Gila River Indian Community, the spa’s treatments draw inspiration from traditional Native American healing practices and incorporate locally sourced ingredients.
I have a tendency to vary the treatment I choose, based on the offerings that align with the current time of year. The spa offers beautiful seasonal treatments that change with throughout the year.
Adjacent to the women’s locker room, you’ll find a steam room, sauna, and outdoor hot tub, all equipped with comprehensive facilities. Following your treatment, you have the option to proceed to the communal pool area, where poolside service is available for both food and beverages.
Aji Spa Cafe
The Aji Spa Cafe is certainly not to be missed during your visit. Apart from the vibrant drinks, like the prickly pear margarita (all the tequila please), the food is absolutely stunning and delicious. I’m particularly fond of the flatbread. The toppings change seasonally and I’ve never been disappointed by it.
Feeling relaxed after a day at the spa!
As always, looking forward to the next trip out to Aji Spa.
